This daily ritual is a game-changer. Please don't give up too early. All change needs patience and time until the new habit becomes your default.
You CAN do this. It'll be hard at first, messy in the middle and awesome for your life at the end.
Your fan always, Robin
Current plan as I start this: Up at 3:00; 20 mins on meditation, 10 mins stretching, 20 mins on planning and 20 mins on learning. I have done this successfully for years. Partially because as I get older I am unable to sleep through the night, so I get up with the idea that I am most creative in the early morning. Newest addition is starting with something positive to set the tone of the day. Author I am reading suggests standing at window watching the morning approach, but I am up too early for that. Considering using the phrase "surely the presence of the Lord is in this place." Like the feeling I get from this, the spark it ignites.
Exactly!!! Finally someone addressed this. 5am club is mainly for singles that have the luxury of a full night of uninterrupted sleep and can actually use that full hour without a little one waking up sick, thirsty, needing a cuddle, etc. Which every parent knows... happens when you wake up early to have me-time.
